Owner & Artist
My life experience has shaped my view of people, creativity and art – and ultimately led me to the world of tattooing. With my studio Tattoos by Steve in Salzburg, I have created a place where individuality, artistic standards and the highest quality are the focus.
For me, a tattoo is much more than just a motif on the skin. It tells stories, expresses personality and becomes a work of art that accompanies its wearer for a lifetime. Exactly this thought shapes my work – from the first conversation to the finished tattoo.
I am driven by the passion to continuously develop myself. New techniques, different styles and the claim to constantly refine my craft and artistic skills are a matter of course for me. Because I am convinced: whoever creates art never stops learning.
My special strength lies in the development of large-scale tattoo concepts. Sleeves, back pieces and connected projects give me the opportunity to develop harmonious overall compositions from individual ideas. This results in individual designs with flowing transitions, clear visual language and a coherent overall concept.
Every project begins with an open conversation. I take the time to really understand the ideas of my clients and to develop a unique work of art together. My claim is to create tattoos that are not only technically implemented at the highest level, but also express personality and unfold the same effect many years later as on the first day.
For me, every tattoo is unique – created with precision, creativity and a real passion for art.

Piercings, their history, and their precise execution have fascinated me for almost a decade. For me, they have always been a very special form of individual expression and autonomy over one's own body. Aesthetic and at the same time uncompromising, determined, and creative.
While the deeper meaning of piercings has remained the same for centuries, techniques, placements, and trends are constantly evolving. This is exactly what makes piercing a living art that never stands still. This combination of historical significance and modern perfection is what drives me as a passionate piercing artist. With a professional, hygienic approach, constantly growing expertise, and a trained eye for aesthetics, I want to give my clients a smile on their face and a piercing that suits them perfectly.

Tattooing is more than just a job for me – it's my passion.
I love to implement creative ideas together with my clients and create individual tattoos that inspire for a lifetime.
My focus is on Black & Grey, Illustrative Style, Fineline, and detailed motifs. I attach great importance to precision, clean work, and a pleasant atmosphere. At the same time, I would like to constantly expand my portfolio – especially in the field of color tattoos, realism, and cover-ups, in order to be able to offer my clients even more possibilities.
My goal is that every client leaves the studio with a tattoo they can be proud of.

Matteo is an experienced guest tattoo artist and visits our studio once or twice a year. All tattoo inquiries and bookings are coordinated directly through the studio.
